Director of Financial Planning

Bio

As Procyon’s Director of Financial Planning, Jon is responsible for the creation of our clients’ tailored, comprehensive financial plans and for the implementation of sophisticated wealth strategies. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional who uses planning to bring solutions and clarity to our clients’ lives.

Jon earned his B.S.F.C.S. in Financial Planning from the University of Georgia and his M.S. in Taxation from American University. He has worked in independent wealth management his entire career, and his expertise has been featured in media publications, including MarketWatch, InvestmentNews, and Kiplinger.

Jon resides in Frederick, MD with his wife and three cats. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf, fostering kittens from local shelters, and serving on the board of directors for the Financial Planning Association’s National Capital Area chapter.
