Bio


Dan brings a wealth of experience to Procyon, having spent 20 years as the principal and CEO/Managing Director of Planning Solutions, LLC, an independent financial advisory firm based in Long Island, NY. His dedication to providing exceptional financial guidance has earned him the recognition as one of “America’s Top Financial Planners” by the Consumers’ Research Council of America.

Dan’s educational journey began at Queens College, CUNY, where he graduated summa cum laude in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. Initially pursuing trades in computer programming, system design, and telecommunications, he eventually found his passion in financial planning. He attended New York University, obtaining his certification as a Certified Financial Planner® in 1991.

With a focus on designing wealth creation and efficiency strategies, Dan assists families, business owners, and high-net-worth individuals in achieving their financial goals. His expertise and insights have proven invaluable in helping clients navigate complex financial landscapes.

Dan’s client base spans across the NY metropolitan area, Florida, and various locations across the United States. He currently resides in Boynton Beach with his wife, Debbie, and is proud of his daughter, Michelle, who resides in Astoria, NY.

Dan’s vast experience, dedication to his clients, and commitment to philanthropy make him a valuable asset to Procyon. His ability to design customized wealth strategies and his passion for making a positive impact in the lives of others align perfectly with the firm’s mission of providing exceptional financial planning services.

While Dan enjoys various activities such as exercise, golf, traveling, and cooking, he strongly believes in giving back to the community. He actively participates in charitable organizations such as St. Jude’s Research, The Special Olympics, and The Multiple Sclerosis Organization of America.
