Katherine Gallagher

Bio

Katherine brings over 20 years of experience in the financial markets, with expertise spanning multi-asset and equity portfolio management, manager selection, and asset allocation. Since 2003, she has successfully managed asset-allocated ETFs, mutual funds, and multi-asset portfolios, combining proprietary equity strategies with these vehicles. Katherine excels in applying her skills across a wide range of client channels, from global financial services firms to independent advisors.

At Procyon, Katherine serves as Senior Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager, contributing to the Investment Committee where she plays a pivotal role in portfolio research and allocation decisions. Before joining Procyon, Katherine co-founded Alpha Quant Models in 2020, where she led the development of independent, quantitative research-driven investment strategies for financial professionals. Her work at Alpha Quant earned her the prestigious “Manager of the Decade” award from PSN Informa for four consecutive years, most recently in 2024.

Katherine holds a B.S. with Global Designation from Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business. At Procyon, she is instrumental in managing U.S. domestic portfolio strategies and collaborating with external advisors to implement a scalable, disciplined investment approach for their clients.
